Family-Friendly Things To Do In and Around Schertz This Summer
Sun’s Out, Fun’s Out.
Summer in Texas can be brutal and with record-breaking May temperatures, we’re here to give you some tips for a successful summer in Schertz.
One key component of any outdoor activity is Sun Protection. It’s critical to cover up in UV blockers, especially during the hot months in Texas. Here are some sun protection tips:
All the rays. Make sure your sunblock has UVA and UVB protection.
Always use SPF 30 or higher. Nowadays most major brands carry sunblock in 100 SPF. Make sure to reapply throughout the day.
Cover up. Hats, sunglasses, and bandanas help to deflect those harmful rays enormously while also keeping you cool.
Ears and Toes. These are frequently missed spots when sunblock is applied. Make sure you get them good and slathered, especially the tops of your ears and toes.
