A Safe Way to Spend Your Spring
Spring is off to an unexpected start as COVID-19 spreads quickly throughout the world. With a pandemic as vast and widespread as the coronavirus is, the most effective way for any community to make a change is to act wisely on a local level.
While self-quarantining, working from home, and stocking up on home goods may seem daunting, we’re here to remind you of all the ways you can still enjoy spring safely within the boundaries of The Crossvine neighborhood.
Picnic at the Pocket Parks
With the closure of restaurants around the nation, it’s safe to say that we’re all about to master the art of cooking. The pocket parks placed throughout the neighborhood provide a nice space to set up with a blanket and a snack when you need a change of scenery.
Borrow a Book
There’s no time like the present to indulge in the leisure activities that you always wish you had the time for. Maybe it’s drawing, crafting, strumming a guitar, or playing a board game. We’ve got one for you: reading that book you picked up from the lending library.
We’re all finding that we suddenly have more hours in the day, now that we’re confined to the edges of our homes. We recommend curling up with a good book, while making sure to wipe it clean before and after use, of course.
Travel Through the Trails
The trails winding throughout The Crossvine provide residents with an opportunity to get out and about without risking safety. These trails provide an outlet for walking the dog, jogging, biking, or taking a leisurely stroll. With the closure of gyms, workout studios, and other public spaces, there’s no reason to go stir crazy when the trail system can act as a perfect alternative.
