Five Things We’re Thankful for This Holiday Season
1. The community we’ve created.
There’s something so wonderful about the life we’ve built as a community.
We’ve surrounded ourselves with beautiful nature and kind neighbors – two things that make every day that much better.
It’s all thanks to the people within our community that home is both a feeling and a place at The Crossvine.
2. The fun we’ve had.
This past year has been filled with so many good memories. We celebrated spring break with ice cream and petting zoos, cleaned up the community together on Earth Day, and hunted for eggs during our Easter Extravaganza.
We made crafts for our moms on Mother’s Day, enjoyed Movies in the Park through the summer, and even welcomed fall with costumes, caramel apples, and a pumpkin patch. Now, these cooler temperatures are inspiring us to head to the Lending Library to grab a book and cozy up at home.
No matter the time of the year, there’s always something fun to do at The Crossvine. We’re so thankful to have such an abundance of events and amenities.
3. The nature we’ve enjoyed.
Did you know our town sees an average of 225 sunny days a year?
With that much beautiful weather, it’s no surprise the outdoors are always calling our name. (And let’s be honest, on some days the outdoors are just calling us to the community pool… This summer was a hot one!)
It’s been so easy to enjoy a swim at the amenity center, hop on the hike and bike trail, take the pups on a walk, and bring the kids to the neighboring Heritage Oaks Park.
We feel very grateful to be a part of a community that’s rooted in nature.
4. The town we live in.
We couldn’t have picked a better town to plant our roots in.
Whether you’re a parent searching for activities to keep the kids busy, a crafter looking to meet fellow enthusiasts, or a social butterfly hoping to make new friends, our sweet town of Schertz has something special for everyone.
(On that note, be sure to follow us on Facebook & Instagram to stay up to date on the wonderful events happening in Schertz!)
5. The good times ahead.
As we look to the future, we can’t help but feel gratitude. In the coming year, we’ll be welcoming more neighbors into the community with the completion of our garden homes and new expansion south of Woman Hollering Creek
And as our neighborhood grows, we’re busy planning new spaces for people to gather and have fun: a new amenity center with a lap pool, splash pad, and community room, and an extension of our trail and park system.
They say the more, the merrier – well, there are certainly some merry times ahead!
Here’s to a connected community, kind neighbors, beautiful nature, and a bright future ahead! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
